NITTTR, Bhopal( formerly known as TTTI Bhopal) was established by the Government of India in the year 1966 primarily for the development of the technician education system in the country. Over the years it has developed as a centre of excellence in the area of technical education and is now offering its varied expertise to different technical education systems, industries and other organisations in the country and to several other countries as well. Over the years the institute has developed the capability to offer wide ranging services to both the technical education system as well as industry. This is made possible by highly qualified , experienced and dedicated faculty, technical supporting and other staff backed by well-developed infrastructure and other facilities.
Apart from polytechnics and engineering colleges, other market segments like professional institutions, industry, public service organisations, vocational education and community at large, needs bigger support now for human resources development.
