Dr. Vijay Kumar Agrawal currently is Director of National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training & Research, Bhopal, India.  He obtained his higher degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc. and D. Phil.) from the University of Allahabad.

During last 30 years, he held several positions of eminence such as Member, Executive Council; Dean, Faculty of Science; Dean, faculty of Home Science, Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW), Professor and Head of Chemistry at APS University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, He was also Coordinator for Bachelor of Journalism course, Coursed on Biochemistry under self supporting mode.

Dr. Agrawal is a recipient of UNESCO fellowship in 1990 and visited Japan for higher research where he received PGD degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He was awarded research projects by AICTE and by the UGC related to computer aided drug designing &QSAR studies. He has been a distinguished invited speaker of International Conferences namely on TOPMOL, 2006 held at Romania, by CPSC Manila in 2010, UNESCO-UNEVOC in 2011 by Sri Lanka. He has delivered more than fifty lectures for UGC refresher courses organized by different national universities in India. He has chaired scientific sessions of many National and International conferences.

Dr. Agrawal has published more than 160 research papers, and worked with the most renowned scientists of the world. He is recipient of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla award for popular Science Book in 1991, and has authored 16 books. He has been associated with editorial boards of various journals, and for 20 books he worked as one of the editors. He has been a distinguished Ph. D guide of 38 scholars, and 4 more candidates are pursuing their research under his able supervision.

In pursuit of his academic and professional interests Dr. Agrawal visited Japan, Romania, SriLanka, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand and Namibia.  He is fellow of Indian Chemical Society, and life member of National Academy of Sciences.
